WorkforceGPS Maintenance Notice: Maintenance will begin at Noon ET Friday, May 24, 2019 and end on Tuesday, May 28, at 9 AM ET.
Your privacy is important to the WorkforceGPS team. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on WorkforceGPS. You do not need to register with the site to gain access to online training materials, but registration is required to: participate in live webinars; to post a comment or other materials; and/or to receive informational updates via e-mail. The information we gather helps us understand where our online materials are used, which helps us to make decisions on potential improvements we can make to WorkforceGPS. Occasionally, we will seek comments from individuals on services offered. Along with other site measures, these comments help us to find ways to improve our services.
The Privacy Act of 1974, as amended (5 U.S.C. 552a), requires us to notify you that the Privacy Act protects the information you are providing to us. WorkforceGPS parties will not share any of your personal information with any other organization or individual. However, please be aware that any use of information you share with other site users by those users is beyond our control. The Privacy Act also requires we notify you that, in rare instances, we may also have to disclose this registration information to the Department of Justice or a court in connection with Federal litigation.
We use return e-mail addresses to answer e-mail inquiries we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
We encourage you to register with WorkforceGPS to receive up-to-the-minute information about new online training, products, and services, as well as important news updates. We will communicate via e-mail so long as you agree to receive these communications. If you believe you are receiving communications in error and/or no longer wish to receive them, please contact us at support@WorkforceGPS.org and tell us so, and we remove you from our mailing list.
You also may decide to send us personally-identifying information (e.g., your mailing address) in an e-mail asking us to mail you some information. Information collected in this manner will be used solely for responding to these requests. To that end, we may forward your e-mail to representatives of WorkforceGPS entities or to government entities better able to respond to you.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
